With just a few weeks left before school starts in Nashville, various organizations organize back-to-school events, and supplies are being collected to distribute to students in San Diego and the surrounding area.
While there are still many things to do, such as sleep in and stay up late, parents should also keep an eye on the back-to-school activities happening in the area. We've rounded up a few potential events for you to check out before the kids return to class!
3rd Annual Memorial Park Back-to-School Event
The community is organizing the 3rd Annual Back to School Bash with support from various organizations. It will feature free giveaways and activities for kids. The event will serve a limited number of young people. They will have multiple services and supplies for the youth, such as school supplies, haircuts, food, and more. Family members and community members are also invited to join for a day of fun and games.
Back-To-School Fashion Show at North County Mall
See a fashion show on August 5 at 2:00 pm at the North County Mall! The mall's fashionable retailers are ready to welcome the new school year with a bang. The fashion show will feature some of the year's most talked-about trends. Come early to receive a swag bag filled with school supplies. There will also be more giveaways happening throughout the show.
Make a personalized back-to-school photo frame and a bracelet made with your name on it. Register in advance, and supplies are included in the cost.
Back to School Event at Ocean Beach Library
Join the library for a Back-to-School event following the animal show at 10 am. Kids can play games and crafts, and there will be free school supplies for everyone (as supplies last).
Bright Minds Bright Future: Back to School Initiative
The event, organized by Onyeka Tefari Spa and Wellness, aims to provide the students of Monarch School with much-needed support. On August 21, volunteers will help sort and classify the donated school supplies. Volunteers will ensure that each item finds its proper place. Later, volunteers are invited to meet at the Monarch School to help distribute school supplies to needy kids. They will deliver backpacks filled with all the necessary items to empower these students with a successful start to their academic careers.
